Celebracion del mes de Poesia: Poesia Poderosa/Poetry Month Celebration: Powerful Poetry Community Event April 24, 2024 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM ET [English] CALL FOR ARTISTS: To celebrate national Poetry Month, the Latina Institute is partnering with renowned poet Sonia G to uplift our movement through artivism and curating a poetry showcase. Registration to recite a poem is closed but we hope you can still join us! [Español] CONVOCATORIA DE ARTISTAS: Para celebrar el Mes Nacional de la Poesía, el Instituto Latina se está asociando con le reconocide poeta Sonia G para elevar nuestro movimiento a través del artivismo y la curaduría de una exhibición de poesía. Habrá diez espacios de 5 minutos disponibles para cualquiera que quiera recitar su poesía. ¡Regístracion para recitar su poema ha terminado pero porfavor venga a celebrar con nosotros!

Asamblea Nacional para la Justicia Reproductiva Meeting - ENGLISH language meeting Community Event April 25, 2024 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM ET Join us and learn how you can become a member of Latina Institute's Asamblea Nacional para la Justicia Reproductiva. The Asamblea welcomes anyone from across the United States who is committed to reproductive justice for all and wants to learn more about Latina Institute’s national campaigns and/or would like to organize for reproductive justice in their local community. The Asamblea will hold two separate meetings in April -- one meeting will be in English and the other meeting will be in Spanish. This event registration is for the ENGLISH language meeting.
